Jesus shared meals with his friends every day during his three-year ministry. After his death, resurrection, and ascension, Jesus’ friends continued this practice along with the new friends they were making. It was an essential part of their journey as disciples or learners in the way of Jesus.
At Embrace, we believe that sharing meals together is an important practice. It helps us get to know each other better. It brings us closer together as we understand what makes each other tick. It’s a chance to invest our lives into each other just as Jesus invested his life into his followers. Following dinner we have a short time of simple worship to offer God thanks for the many ways God is working in our lives.
